What to Expect at DPC Family Doctor: A Personalized Approach to Your Health

Hippocrates, the father of medicine, said that all diseases start in the gut.

We help people with long-term health problems like weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, and fatty liver. We do this by finding out what is causing the problem. We start with a detailed consultation and lab tests to look for the root cause, like gut problems, hormones, or toxins. Then, we help fix the problem by working closely with each person and offering advice on lifestyle changes, supplements, and medicine if needed.

Our first consultation lasts 2 hours. We ask about your medical history, including your birth, family health, past surgeries, diet, lifestyle, medicines, and any stressful events in your life. We focus on your immune system, gut health, energy, detox, hormones, and digestion. We also talk about sleep, relaxation, exercise, nutrition, stress, and relationships.

During the check-up, we look at your body composition (how much muscle and fat you have), waist size, and metabolism rate. After reviewing everything, we create a plan just for you, based on your needs and preferences.

The plan might include fixing gut problems, helping your body absorb food and nutrients better, reducing insulin resistance, balancing hormones with the right food, improving sleep and relaxation, giving you an exercise plan, and using supplements. We also work on removing toxins with the right diet and foods that help with detoxing.

We continue to follow up and check lab results to make sure you're improving. We keep track of your weight and health with body composition analysis.
